Olajumoke Orisaguna | A Dream Model Or Being Forced To?

Olajumoke Orisaguna is a definition of Grace as we all know, started from Photo bombing TY Bello and Tinie Tempah in the streets of Yaba, front page of ThisDay Style Magazine and also metamorphosing into various mouthwatering deals such as - New home, new life, an educational trust fund from a bank, two endorsement deals with an online shop and bakery, plus much more.

We’ve seen various pictures of her all over the internet in her model – like look.

In her tear jerking cover interview for ThisDay Style, Olajumoke  Orisaguna, the bread seller turned model, was quoted as saying she's an aspiring hair stylist and her dream is to start her own hair dressing salon.

But is Jumoke enjoying her new career as a model? Is she being forced into something she doesn't want to do? Would she be happier if her new career paid more focus to her budding talent as a hair stylist?

Last week, social critic Charles Novia penned an article titled "Jumoke's Unleavened Bread & The Oven of Opportunists". In the essay, he called out people exploiting Jumoke's fame for their own selfish interest.

The 27-year-old was recently featured in a beautiful new ad for US-based Nigerian luxury women's wear designer, Layo G.
The brand's owner flew down to Nigeria to direct the photoshoot.
Last weekend, Jumoke partook in a runway modelling show. Her first runway show, ever. The video was posted on her Instagram page - she looked uncomfortable and nervous while walking.
Below is what fashion designer Layo G wrote about his photoshoot with Jumoke.

"We have all heard the amazing story of Olajumoke Orisaguna, the breadseller turned model sensation when she accidentally walked into the shot of a celebrity's street photoshoot. We here at Layo G have been really captivated by her journey because she represents the Layo G woman in so many ways.

"The strong woman who does not let obstacles thrown her way get her down, but instead hustles to overcome them. We admire strong women who are grinding everyday in their own way. Whether you are a breadseller or a supermodel, a CEO or an executive assistant we here at Layo G believe every woman is a boss. Olajumoke absolutely slays in our Flared Collar Jacket and her natural confidence shines through.

More to come from our amazing shoot."
