50 Cent Ordered To Court After Posting Money Online Saying "BROKE"

50 Cent filed for bankruptcy in an attempt to avoid paying judgements brought against him, however, though he has filed for bankruptcy, he hasn't exactly been conducting himself as someone who would need to.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Ann M. Nevins feels that 50 is not being truthful about his financial status, especially after flashing his cash on social media over the last few months. She cites the time 50 Cent spelled out the word "BROKE" in stacks of $100 bills. She also mentions the rapper in bed surrounding by stacks of money.

"I'm concerned about allegations of nondisclosure or a lack of transparency in the case," Judge Nevins told 50's attorney. "When that process becomes very public, the need for transparency, I believe, is even higher."

"There's a purpose of having a bankruptcy process be transparent, and part of that purpose is to inspire confidence in the process," the judge said, adding that bankruptcy court is where "an honest but unfortunate debtor can come into court and seek relief."

Judge Nevins ordered 50 to show up for court to answer questions. 50's lawyers say that 50 will indeed show "to make sure that all questions have been addressed."
